Since the mid-1990s, the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) has brought together advocates, lawyers, and health care professionals to fight discrimination. These volunteers help students who are not receiving diabetes accommodations at school, workers denied jobs, incarcerated people who don't have even basic diabetes care, and many others.
We need your help to end discrimination against people with diabetes. Help us educate others about diabetes, negotiate appropriate diabetes care and accommodations, litigate to protect the rights of people with diabetes, and legislate to ensure people with diabetes are protected from discrimination.
